Seeking any information on Thomas O Ide DOB 1843 of Providence Rhode Island who came to Australia on

Seeking any information on Thomas O Ide DOB 1843 of Providence Rhode Island who came to Australia on a Whaling ship in 1872. We have records of him from 1850 to 1889.

 Can not find any American Birth information prior to 1850 census or any record of Death information in Australia. Would also Like to Know what his middle name was.

Bride's Family Name(s) = MORRISSEY;

Bride's Given Name(s) = Bridget;

[ Registration ] District = Bega.

Actual Date of Marriage is: 22 May 1876

It appears that "Bridget" his Wife, Died on 13 November 1887 (aged 34 ) the 'Registration District' being "Balmain, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia" (Registration number: 2190/1887); whereas, NO Parents names are listed.

There is a "Bridget MORRISSEY" whose Birth is recorded in the 'Registry of Birth Death Marriages'; but, her Birth appears to be about 3 years earlier than the "Bridget" above.

Father's Given Name(s) = DANIEL;

Mother's Given Name(s) = CATHERINE;

[ Registration ] District = "Blank" ( ie. Not Recorded ).

Looks like there is a Daughter missing: "Florence"; but, this could be "Catherine".
