Sofia Larsdotter 4th from bottom. I am tracing where she moved from. Can not decipher her move in 1843. Thank you for your assist. Deniese

I am still stuck. I have searched thru Household records in Hjälstad ​covering 1843 and the records just before that and did not find Anna Sofia. Household records after she marries show her place of birth to be Strängnäs but do not find her there either. Is it not Strängnäs? Any suggestions very much appreciated. Thank you. Deniese

Moving out record in Hjälstad tells that she moved out from Moholm. And Moholm can be found from Mo parish

Thank you so much. I hate to ask at the end of your day but when I went to Skövde records there are no house exam records and the moving lengths do not go back that far. So I have been tracing Sofia backward in time. Is Strängnäs correct for where she was born or am I wrong there? ​

In Skövde there were at that time 2 parishes, Skövde stadsförsamling ​(city parish) and Skövde landsförsamling (countyside parish). Both of them have house exam records for that year. Stad has also moving records but land's moving records start later. I do not know which parish Sofia came from, but if I should guess I would look landsförsamling first.

Strängnäs is the correct birth place for Sofia, at least that is the place marked.
