His grandson married the grandaughter of Richard Bull Smith. Smithtown Long Island was named after Richard Bull Smith. There were a few more marriages over the generations of the Smiths and Blydenburghs. I have traced The Smiths back many generations in England. I would like to find out more about my wife's ancestors The Blydenburghs in The Netherlands.
