Can I unmerge a person when I use the Family Tree app on my phone?
I love using the Family Tree app on my phone! When it comes to merging duplicates I find it much easier and better to use my computer/laptop.
When I have a tab open for each person I'm reviewing for possible duplicates it's easier to have each of persons sources, family members, etc. all laid out in front of me. This visual helps me compare more completely before I choose to merge or not merge.
With all that said, Is this why there isn't a way to unmerge when I'm using my Android phone in the Family Tree app?

@ShellyR Leavitt1 Yes, you can unmerge using the mobile app, if no changes have since been made to either record. Here are the steps:
Steps (mobile app)
- Tap the 3 dots in the top-right corner.
- Android: Tap Recent Changes.
- Apple iOS: Tap More, then Recent Changes.
- Look for a green box titled "Merge."
- Tap Unmerge. If this option is not available for this record, it is not visible.
- Explain why, and tap Unmerge.
- The box is now brown and has the title "Unmerge." To review information on the restored record, tap the name under Restored Person.
If you don't see Unmerge as an option, you can restore the deleted record, but you have to bring up a browser and open the website to do it. Here are the steps for that:
- While signed in to FamilySearch.org, find the merge in the changes list and click the name that shows as having been deleted.
- In the person card, click Person.
- In the Person Deleted box, review the reason for the deletion, and then click Restore Person.
