Full transcription of birth record or at least help me find the names of the parents in the birth record.

I believe the attached birth record belongs to Bengt Pålsson who was born 7 Jan 1785 in Västra Sallerup, Malmöhus, Sweden. Parents are said to be Påhl Svensson and Hanna Svensdotter. Please help me confirm that I have the right record and if possible highlight or show where the parent names are.

It says Friday the 7th of January was born Pål Svensen and Hannah's son in .Präls? (whatever the name of the farm is) and baptized on the 8th with the name Bengt. In this case he underlines the name of the child as well as their sex. The parents names come right before the sex.

Parents name are highlighted. Fathers first name is little hidden, but å can be seen, so I believe it says that Pål Svensons and Hannas son Bengt was born 7 Jan and baptized 8 Jan.

Your best chance is to search the historical maps through the Swedish National Geologic Survey Office (Lantmäteriet.)
