Suggestions for Additional Features

Thanks for the feature requests. Here's a few thoughts.
1) Attach a Source to Many
The FamilySearch sourcing model is person centric, at least for indexed searchable records. Bob in the record is attached to Bob in the tree. Bob's wife Mary in the record is attached to Mary in the tree. If you are using the SourceLinker tool you can easily and quickly attach each person in the record to the correct person in the tree with a click or two.
Unindexed images and manually created sources, can be attached to multiple tree persons since the actual persons in the record are not identified in a way for the machines to understand their individuality. These cannot be loaded into the SourceLinker, but if the source is created in the SourceBox (accessible under your name in the top right of the screen, it has some tools that will make attaching it to multiple people in your recents list, etc quicker.
2) Deleting Easier
Deleting a person is a pretty significant change unlikely to be surfaced on the pedigree views. It is available on each person, as you know, and should usually only be done rarely, after thorough evaluation and with a reason statement. If you find yourself in a scenario where you need to delete lots of people, I'm very curious to understand your workflow and need. Please provide additional context.0 -
for the deleting easier I am thinking of beginners. the idea of redoing or "cleaning" up a tree can be overwhelming and took much work causing the beginner to give up.

Stephen,
As a product manager, I'm always interested in making software as easy for users as possible, where that makes sense. However, this is a fairly dangerous feature that should only be needed rarely. A user should always do a thorough reviews all the sources , which are accessible from the person page, before deleting tree persons.
As an aside, this new user owned tree feature is intended specifically for members of genealogical societies, family associations, large tree owning organization, professional genealogists, expert researchers, and those who have legitimate reasons why they can't put their data into the Shared Family Tree.
Additionally, there has been some great progress recently in the FamilySearch tree software to provide users to research quality scores and alert them if they are about to take a bad action in the tree. There are many more valuable data protection and research focused features coming soon.
Opinion Warning
Most casual less advanced users, who are not in these categories listed above, will benefit from, and make more ancestor discoveries by, working in the Shared Family Tree.
