It's no longer possible to find any church records when searching by place (Poland)
The new Family Search Catalog is useless - it no longer shows ANY church records (at least for Poland) when I search by place even though these records were available before the update. The same problem (no results) occures for EVERY place in Poland I search by. Why is that? I'm really disappointed.

Recent changes in the laws of this country have required permission changes in how the FamilySearch catalog and other information are obtained and viewed by the public. The first suggestion I can offer at this time is to keep trying to access the records over time, as the permissions may change in the future. Remember that the 1920s to current are not normally allowed because of privacy restrictions.
I can also suggest that at this time you take advantage of other platforms for research, such as Ancestry or FindMyPast, to name a few, which work under different restrictions than FamilySearch.
You may also want to contact the original Archives that hold the records if it is still possible to go directly to the source. (You will find the archive listed in the catalog record.)
Another suggestion is to try the FamilySearch Poland Research Group, where many experts assist with questions and translations. They may know of a Polish website where this information is available. In the Group you can find a rather extensive list of Polish research help. There is a site for the Polish records and vital statistics. I would also take the time to go to the FamilySearch Wiki page for Poland Genealogy.
