throughout the data you will see "edit" links - where you will be able to edit the data.

Note this is one massive database that we all share collaboratively.

You do not have a "private tree" - you have the same access as we all do to a single massive billion record database.

Short Answer: 'No', you will NOT be able to "Delete" that line.

.

In fact, in "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch" we can only "Delete" an individual/person that we have created/added; but, with the 'Rider' that, where (and, ONLY where) NO Other User/Patron has 'contributed' to that individual/person.

.

If you did not create/add an individual/person you will NOT be able to "Delete" them.

Are you certain that that is your Ancestral line?

Are you ceratin that they are, in fact, 'Mistakes'?

Do you have the supporting 'Evidence' to back what you consider are 'Mistakes'?

We all think that we know everything about our Ancestral lines; but, that is not always the case.

"Family Tree" of "FamilySearch" is NOT like "Ancestry_com" or the like.

We DO NOT have "Private"/"Personal" 'Trees' in "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch" like other "Web" Sites; and/or, 'standalone' personal programmes.

We do not even, own; or, manage; and, are NOT even responsible for, the "Deceased" individuals/person in "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch".

"Family Tree" of "FamilySearch" is built on a "Open Edit" Platform - hence, why any registered User/Patron can "Edit" (ie. Add, Delete; and/or, Change) ANY "Deceased" individual/person in "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch".
