Correcting during Merging

The way to merge people on FamilySearch has been updated. However, in the old version, you could remove a relationship from a parent entered as a duplicate by doing a merge. This avoided having to subsequently remove an unnecessary relationship from the child linked to one of the parents when they were already linked to both parents.

This method is no longer available in this update. Can you allow removing a link by merging as before in the new version?

@Marcel Blais We are encouraging people to make edits before or after a merge. If we allow changes during merges, it makes it a lot harder to go back and understand what happened in the merge.
