NOTE: The ink in the introductory section of the record is very faint except for the “diez” in the year section, meaning "1910". I tried manipulating the image but was not able to make the writing more readable. It would have contained the date of registration, as well as the name of the informant and place of birth, marital status, profession, domicile and the gender of the child being registered.
Translation:
“That the said male child was born in the home of the informant on the fourteenth day of January at 12:00 at night.
That he is the legitimate son of Maximiliano Ramirez, native of Guaynabo, occupation merchant, sixty years old, and of his wife Carmen Benet, native of Guaynabo, twenty years old, housewife, both residents of this capital city.
He is a grandson on the paternal line Maximiliano Ramirez and Regina [last name blank], native of Guaynabo.
Maternal line of [given name blank] Benet, of Asturias and [given name blank] Benitez of Guaynabo.
And that the said male child was given the name of Secundino Maximiliano Ramírez.
In the presence of witnesses Esteban Rodriguez, José M. Balader and Juan Carambot, all of full age.”
