Gravesite Request - Banda Aceh, Indonesia
Do we have any members in the Banda Aceh, Indonesia region? I'm trying to get some information on a relative buried in the Kerkhoff Poetjoet Cemetery and was wondering if anyone would be willing to help visit the cemetery and look for a gravesite for me.
Relative is: Johannes van der Pauwert; Born: 14 April 1837; Died: 15 February 1876
Hopefully this is an okay request to make, if not, please let me know.

Have you tried requesting a photo through the Find a Grave website. I notice that there are a few memorials for Kerkhoff Poetjoet Cemetery on their website. You could create an entry for your relative and Request Photo.

My wife and I visited Banda Aceh in December 2011. seven years after the tsunami. The Poetjoet Cemetery had been damaged by the tsunami, but carefully restored.
I found the name I. van der Pauw… in this picture at the entrance gate of Poetjoet Cemetery - in the extreme right column.
That is all I can help you with.
