Translation help please for back of photo postcard

The photo on the front of the postcard was taken in 1916 in Pembroke, Ontario, Canada. Wife Olga, with daughter Hilda, is writing to her husband Wilhelm, who is at home in Eganville. Olga was born in Prussia in 1893 and wrote with this style of handwriting.

Thank you! I have been sorting old photographs and trying to identify the people. Now I know the woman is not Olga. It’s her sister Ida. She is talking about the recent birth of Olga’s daughter Alma.
I was completely wrong about the postcard, so I am probably wrong about the other one in this pair of postcards. Could you please help again? I think it is from Wilhelm to wife Olga.
The writing is obscured in some places because the photo was glued to a green photo album page. Danke, Mary.

Have received a letter and card. Only you didn't come. Fritz and I went to the railway but you didn't come and we had to go back empty. Then come at Christmas or whenever you want. The boys are already looking forward to seeing Hildegard. We now have a phone and there is also a phone in the station; if you come and we are not there then you can phone us to pick you up.

Thank you. You're right, it's Ida writing to Olga (Hildegarde was her oldest daughter). I really appreciate your help with these two postcards. I thought the photo of the man in the boat was Wilhelm (it looks like him), but that doesn't make sense now. It is not Ida's husband. Well, another puzzle for another day. Thanks, again.
