Can I post a PDF or JPG file?

I have a birth record — it's a PDF file. Is there someway to upload the file so I can request translation assistance? I see most people have a URL link to a record, but I only have a PDF file.

The easy option to attach a record image here in the Community has been broken for several months. There is a workaround -

If I remember correctly, some time ago (when direct upload was possible) a pdf was not accepted - had to be jpg.
