Translation request question

My ancestors lived in Alsace in the 18th and 19th centuries but were German/Swiss and their Protestant church records are in German. Should I be posting translation requests for their church records here or is there a more appropriate group I should post to? Currently, I am mostly working with short records, baptismal, death and marriages.

Second question. Linking to images on the French archive sites looks a bit awkward to me. Linking to the images, if they exist, on Family Search is much simpler. Am I correct in assuming that members of this group also have Family Search accounts and can open the link to an image hosted by Family Search?
