I have found the Evangelisch church records for Detfurth beginning in 1854 (?) What jurisdiction would I look for in the Library Catalog to find records in 1817 or before?

According to Meyers there is only a Catholic parish church in https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/10333048 . The Protestant (Lutheran) parish is https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/20670061 . Archion states that baptism records since 1706 and marriage and burial records since 1697 are available in the "Landeskirchliches Archiv der Evangelisch-lutherischen Landeskirche Hannover", but they are not digitized and can only be viewed at the archive:
