Looking for assistance
I'm looking for any information anyone could provide on a Saxon-born French general named Jean-Armand de Dieskau who died in Suresnes, Hauts-Seine, France on 8 September 1767. I contacted the La Société Généalogique Canadienne-Française’s Project Montcalm
database in Quebec, their database contains no record of the general’s death certificate in their registers.
I'm truly hoping someone with more resources can help.
Thanks in advance.

The Archives of Hauts-de-Seine are online. https://archives.hauts-de-seine.fr/n/archives-en-ligne/n:89
Civil records are available from 1793, but church/parish records for Suresnes as early as the mid-1500s are imaged.

I went to the site, but the year in question (the general's death was on 8 September 1767) does not seem to be digitized (probably therefore unavailable for free access on the net).
An executive assistant at the archives stated that they could not assist me in a search….
Unfortunately, I am in the U.S. and have no connections with anyone in France who could do the "leg work" and go there to analyze the documents.
As much as I would like to see if they have a record of his death, I may just have to go with La Société Généalogique Canadienne-Française’s Project Montcalm database stating that no record of the general’s death certificate exists.
