Please translate this marriage record for Hoffmann's father information

I cannot figure out what the columns for Hoffmann's father is saying. Please help

Hello @karenk,

The only column which contains any information about the groom's father is the fourth column.

The heading for the fourth column is:

Ob die Eltern oder der Vormund die Einwilligung gegeben und wie solches geschehen = Whether the parents or the guardian have given their consent and how such was done.

This is what is recorded in the fourth column:

Die Vater hat mündlich eingewilligt = The father has verbally consented.

Note that the groom's father is not named or otherwise identified in this record.

Thank you for this information. In several records the father's name that is listed is only Hoffmann. but in front of his name is former constable. Very frustrating to get this far and no further.
