Unable to Copy from MAC Clipboard into Discussion

The Post encounters an error when I attempt to copy from the Mac clipboard into a Discussion. Has anyone successfully used a Mac to copy and paste from the clipboard into a Discussion? If so, please advise how to perform the copy/paste option. Here's an example of what I encounter -
