Consistent with sources wording and level of detail
John Toner 9W3D-FB8 was born in Illinois, United States, in the 1870s. I don't yet have his birth or baptism to have an exact location or date.
There are, of course, multiple "date doesn't match" conflicts because every census or record is slightly different.
One death index (no image) lists "Chicago, Ill" as his place of birth. Therein lies the rub because the algorithm calls out another inconsistency for place of birth.
It's an index without an image. It seems the index - which should only be a finding aid - is being used as a baseline. Without the image, no one knows what is written.
Maybe the algorithm is being a touch too literal on the differences?
Thanks.

Thank you as always for your great input and suggestions. This issue is under review :)
Update: currently the algorithm isn't sophisticated enough to differentiate sources without original image view available. This will continue to be in the que as a known issue.
