I have a few questions regarding a May 1821 birth record for Valentin Konold, son of Johann Heinrich Konold, a HammerSchmidtMeister, his wife Anna Clara born Gross the ? child first? son ... named Valentin.

  1. what day of the week was Valentin born?
  2. What I really need is a complete translation of his sponsor/godfather Valentin Konold

    . . . the third child born, a son, the second son (in this marriage) . . .

    1. The child was born on Monday, 7 May 1821 at 10:00 am. The child was baptized on Sunday, 13 May 1821.

    2. The baptismal sponsor was the father's brother Valentin Konoldt, master hammersmith at Schellnhausen, who was represented by hammersmith Johann Caspar Jäger from here.

    Many thanks, I've been unable to find neither a birth or marriage record for Valentin, so all clues are of value. (He emigrated in 1854 with 8 children is all I know.)
