Translation Request - Karl Weilbach WWI Personnel Roster No 750
Thanks so much. I am unsure of his parents' names. He is my great-grand uncle. Then I can add his mom (my 2nd great-grandmother) to my tree.

The key personal information that I can get out of it:
Karl Weilbach/ Catholic/ Born in
Günzburg, Bayern 5 April 1887/ Occupation: Mason in /wife Maria nee Neff?, 1 child/ parents Karl and Josefa W. nee __achner/ __erchner??Maybe someone else can figure out the mother's surname. I did find the family in the Ettenbeuren parish familiebuch (which includes Unterrohr) but I cannot make out the mother's maiden name there either. But it gives all his siblings and the paternal grandparents are the family above :
and his parents marriage 16 Feb 1879. Here her surname looks something like Lerchner but I'm not confident about it.

Thank-you so much! Karl Weilbach's sister, Barbara, is my great-grandmother. I didn't know her mother's name nor her parents marriage date. I have just started to explore my paternal side of the family. I found marriage records through FamilySearch for some of my family in Bavaria. But I have yet to explore the database for which you have provided the links. This is so exciting. I am very grateful for your help.
Thanks again
Doris

You are very welcome.
I just realized that when I got busy trying to figure out Karl's mother's surname, I forgot to finish posting the additional information that was in the column about Karl's parents. It says the father was a bauermeister (a leader of a farm community) in
and that the mother is deceased (in the Ettenbeuren familiebuch it says she died in 1909).So that gives you another town to look for records for his father. Krumbach records are here but might not be for the right time period:

Thanks for that additional information. I really appreciate all those links as well.
