WSeelentag I have found some documents related to a Georg Jänder today on Matricula. They are all posted on the same page. The problem is, I'm not sure if they will help with our Jänder narrative. In one of them Georg is a sponsor. I'm not sure what the other entries are. The marriages and births and deaths seem to be mixed together. The deaths have a cross and some of the births have the child's name to the side.
I don't want to waste your valuable time but on the other hand they may give us Jänta clues. Your advice?

Hello Kent,
I noticed you had posted a request for one of them to the Germany group.
I had a quick look at all your copies: all concerned with Jander from Emhof - so most likely somehow related to "our" Jander family - but I don't think the relations can be determined (proven) due to the required information not being included. All we can say - there were several Jander families living in Emhof, possibly brothers - who knows? More important for me: it will not help our problem with Conrad born 1694 or 1698.
As far as asking in the Germany group: this is definitely fine with me 😉! I enjoy helping with entries related to the "Swiss part" - but am not really motivated to try trace all Jander in the region.
Short note: 1667 Joannis Jander Dieldorf Germ. Matricula 1666-1711 page 006 should be 1668 (not 1667).
Best regards - Wolf

Good to know. The work you did on Conrad is greatly appreciated!!! Also thanks helping with the Jenta line in Switzerland. I may ask the German group to do a few of the entries that spark my curiosity. All the best, Kent
