Querfurth Family
My paternal side is from Braunschweig - Grandfather, father, aunt and uncles. My grandmother was from Riga, Latvia.
I'm try to locate information on my great-grandfather who left Germany and moved to Saint Petersburg, Russia. He did in 1902.

The entry that the link takes you to contains data collected from a German Saint Petersburg newspaper "St. Petersburger Evangelisches Sonntagsblatt".
Here you can find the information that Theodor Heinrich Christian Querfurth, master baker, passed away on 22 December 1896. In 1889 he had married the widow Amalie Jokowlew, née Becker.

Hi,
Here links to the marriage certificate of a Christian Theodor Heinrich Querfurt to Louise Wilhelmine Heussner and to the birth certificate of their son Willy Richard. They are in a catholic church book from Braunschweig because Louise Heussner was catholic.
Hopefully this is the right family.
