Where can I find a WWII pow expert
looking for help with research on POW camps in Germany, trying to learn about the camp my grandfather (from Poland) was in as well as figure out what camp he was transferred to. Does anyone know where I could hire someone for help on the subject ?

Have you requested your grandfather's service record from the NARA? Do you know the name of the camp(s)?
There is a Military group that you may find useful. There are also several on Facebook/meta.1 -
would they be helpful for service records of people from Poland?

And some of the groups on meta/Facebook would be useful. There is also an active poster on Twitter/X who posts daily with records mostly from Auschwitz.

Robert - I’ve spent dozens of hours researching the subject. I’ve found a little that helped but not a ton, the reason why I’m looking for a researcher. I have a German transport document and his ex pow identity card, his id card states he was in “Troppau and Lipsk (Liepzig)”. Troppau had only 3 camps, one for Polish civilians , so I feel safe to say that’s the one he was in, but no definite proof. As far as Liepzig camps go, there were 100s of them. The documents I have don’t give anymore detail. They don’t have anything as far as dates of when the transfer happened, and not even a release date. So essentially all I know is he went to Troppau, may of 1944 based on the German transport document I found.

Also try the German Bundesarchiv here -
Click on the blue box that says "Suche Ohne Anmeldung." On the next screen, click on "Suche" (might be highlighted in yellow), then on "Namenssuche" (also in yellow).
The Bundesarchiv has a very large database of people who were persecuted during WWII.
