no icon for uploading image?

I've been turning to this group frequently lately, for help transcribing words here and there that I can't make out in original documents found online elsewhere. Suddenly today I can't find the icon for uploading an image. What changed?

This is particularly disappointing because the current one I'm working on is particularly hard to decipher. Anyone else having the same problem?

@Elda Stone The option to add an image to a post was broken last week, then fixed, and now, unfortunately, broken again.

Whew. Disappointing for the moment, but I thought it was just me having issues.
