Translation request, please -- Baptism Johann Leppien, 1771, Bössow
In the image below, the baptism of Johann Jochim Hinrich Leppien seems to be on 3 Oct 1771 in Bössow. In the 1819 census of Mecklenburg, presumably the same man gives his birth as 23 Oct 1771 and his place of birth as Thorstorf. I am having trouble working out the details of his baptismal record and if someone could provide a translation, I'd be very grateful. There is a word below the line where the parents, Jürgen Leppien and his wife Elsabe are listed that I cannot read. Is it her maiden surname? Is she also from Thorstof? Thanks for taking the time to look at this. Very much appreciated. Barbara

Regarding: Thorstorfer Katen
Here is the link for Thorstorf from Meyers Gazetteer:
In the gray bar at the top of the entry open the "Map" link. Thorstorf will be marked with a red dot in the center of the map. Move south from Thorstorf less than an inch on the map and you will find a place marked as "Kathen". This is likely to be Thorstorfer Katen.

Thank you so much, Robert! I have looked at the map and found "Kathen." Those would be the "cottages" I guess. Really appreciate your help getting these people "on the ground." Kind regards, Barbara
