Guten Morgen
Ich suche die Geburtsurkunde meines Vorfahren Bône oder Baum Mathis, eines reisenden Korbmachers. Auf den Geburtsurkunden seiner Kinder steht, dass er in Tholenn (Thoden) in der Provinz Trier geboren wurde und Preuße ist. Als Geburtsdatum gibt er eine Verurteilung in Moselle im Jahr 1857 an. Er wurde im Januar 1822 in Tholenn geboren. Das Problem ist, dass ich die Stadt Tholenn oder so nicht finden kann. Haben sie eine Idee? DANKE

    I may be misunderstanding the text of this book because my French reading comprehension is very poor. But I think on page 34 of this attached book it might say that taxes collected in the village of Theley are used to fund "Ecclesia de Tholen". So maybe Tholen is the name of the parish in Theley?
