Would like to see ALL private persons (not just 300)
I was really excited last year's Roots Tech when Todd Powell announced that living person information would be able to be shared among family members. But I think I misunderstood how it would be implemented. It appears that you can only see the living information of people who belong to the private group. What I'd like to be able to do it see ALL the private individuals my father (who is part of my group) has put into FamilySearch, so I can assist him in updating them from my account when they die. I was under the impression that if I created a family group we'd each have access to each other's private individuals. Is that not the case?

You are correct that we cannot see each other's private list. You would have to copy all of those living individuals into a Family Group Tree and work on them together there. However, this is not the intent of this project. Read Todd Powell's comment to better understand the intent of this tool.

Thanks Anne. I read Todd's comment and now understand the intent of the new feature. I'm sure it's great for some, but it's just not as I'd hoped it would function, so hugely disappointed. I guess the only way to do what I'd like is to either use a helper id (not ideal because they expire so soon), or share FS account passwords (again, not ideal).
