Translation Request with Postcard (German)
I would be grateful if someone could please translate this postcard that is in my husband's family. His great grandparents were German. Possible names that may be mentioned on this postcard are: Gottlob Hahn, Gottlieb Hahn, Johanna Hahn. Thank you!

The text is not German, I believe it is Danish. You may want to post it in the Nordic Countries Group (https://community.familysearch.org/de/group/137-nordic-countries-research).

I am very surprised, because this was in my mother-in-law's personal documents from her father who was German. We are fairly positive it's German. They don't have Danish ancestry on her father's side ... ALL German. Her mother had very DISTANT ancestry from Denmark, but it was way, way back. Her mother would not have known ANY Danish. I'll try the nordic group to see what they say.
