This is not the burial record for Johannes Lerch, but anyhow a rather interesting one.
Transcription:
Selb: d[en] 18ten 8br: ist Herr Wilhelm Breyting, Caffeschenck zu Frankfurt, welcher allhier den einen harten Bruch sich schneiden u: curiren laßen wollte von hiesigem Operateur Buchhold, aber darüber deß andern Tags sterben müste?, bestattet worden. aet: 37 Jahr, 6 monath weniger etl. Tag.
Translation:
Selbold: On 18 October was buried Mr. Wilhelm Breyting, coffee house owner? at Frankfurt, who wanted to have a hard hernia cut and cured here by the local surgeon Buchhold, but had to die from it the other day. Age 37 years, 6 months less a few days.
Comment: the German word "Bruch" can mean both a hernia or a fracture. A hernia seems more probable here, but I don't know what a "hard hernia" means. "Bruchschneider" (hernia cutters) existed since the middle ages, they were low-ranking medical craftsman like barbers and "tooth-breakers" without medical education.

Oh my! How embarrassing! I downloaded the entire page from Archion and clipped the wrong record. I wondered why I could not understand any of the words! The record is quite unique and interesting, though. Thank You
