Translation:

As the binding had become damaged, I had the book rebound and interleaved with writing paper. This resulted in 2 volumes

1. born 1690 - 1799

2. married 1693 - 1798 and deceased 1716 - 99

bound by Barthelmann in Meiningen.

This book can be compared for 1690 to 1764 to the "Pastor's compendium" in Schweina 1680 - 1764 and the church book of pastor Hörning 1763 - 99, which has been in Bad Liebenstein since 1938, . The former is labeled H or HB, the latter K*B. The differences are sometimes considerable.
