Death translation
I have been searching for the death of Johannes Peter Rumpf first wife. His name is on this record though I am not recognizing a second name. He remarried in 1754. Please translate fifth record for the 4th of Aug. A full page has been attached below.

I see it as:
On the 4rth day of August died the wife of Johannes Peter Rompf and on the 6th of the same month was buried. Age 41 years. Text read Psalm 111 v 9.

Sometimes a record can be exasperating! I have a many-great grandmother whose marriage record doesn't give her father's name. Looking for her birth record I find that during the time of her birth the scribe for that parish recorded only the fathers name and the sex of the child, - no mother's name, not even the child's name! There is someone with the right surname who had a couple daughters during that period so I may have found her birth record, or maybe not! I'll never really know.
