Please translate the marriage record dated18 September 1809 Peter Heinrich Schafer and Anna Sabina of the fourth record down. I noticed there are numbers in the left column and wondering if these are birth dates of the couple. Thank you for assisting me.

    Hi,

    I think you are right about the birth dates because there is also a very faint "gb." next to them which I take to be the abbreviation for "geboren" (born).

    This is what I read:

    Henrich Schäfer, des Johann Henrich Schäfers nachge-

    lassener ehelicher Sohn, mit Anne Sabine, des Gott-

    fried Fitzlers (??) ehel. Tochter daselbst, nach 3maliger

    Proclamation, im Hause copuliret

    Edingen on September 15th [1809], after three proclamations, the carpenter Peter Henrich Schäfer, legimitate son of the deceased Johann Henrich Schäfer, and Anne Sabine, legitimate daughter of Gottfried Fitzler (??) from here, were married at home.
