Hi all. I am trying to find a baptism record for Catherine Schmitz. I think this entry on this page may be Catherine Schmitz. Can I get your opinion and maybe a translation for the child? Thanks Patricia

    The writing is rather unclear, especially towards the end. However, I would agree that the name of the child and his father could be Schmitz.

    What I seem to read:

    Sybilla Catharina Schmitz Hermann Schmitz u(?) Maria Krauß(?) parens nata ....Sybilla Catharina Krauß(?) Patr baptizata 5. Mertz
