Help with translation
This is a page of an alphabetical listing of birth, wedding and death. My questions are:
- In the upper right hand corner of these pages there is a heading and underneath that is three different categories: Tauf (baptism) and I don't know the next two categories. Can you help me with that.
- I think I see an Annetta Seifert with the numbers next to her being 218 and then 185. Do you agree?
- The next person down, I think is Augustus with the last number being 174. - do you agree?
- The third from the end on the same page I think is Franz Joseph with number 154
- Do you see a Christinia on this page?
- I see a Caroline with a name before her. Her numbers are 200 and 106. Do you know the name before Caroline?
- I am having trouble figuring out what the numbers mean and where can I go to see the baptismal records? Do you think this is a index or just an alphabetical listing.
Thank you so much,
Karen Dwyer

Hello @karendwyer1
(1) Page in the Register: Taufregister=Baptisms; Trauregister=Marriages; Sterbregister=Deaths. [The numbers in each of the three columns refer to the pages in each of the three registers: Baptismal Register; Marriage Register; Death Register.]
(2) Annette, Baptism Register, p. 218. Marriage Register, p. 185.
(3) Auguste (female), Death Register, p. 174.
(4) Franz Joseph, Baptism Register, p. 154.
(5) I do not find the name "Christina" on either page.
(6) Dorette Karoline, Baptism Register, p. 200. Death Register, p. 106.
(7) This is an index to the baptism register, the marriage register, and the death register of Aubstadt in Bavaria. Look at the heading at the top of the image you provided and you can see the time periods included in each register:
Baptisms, 1810-1837.
Marriages, 1810-1892.
Deaths/Burials, 1810-1845.
Since this Aubstadt index came from Archion you would look for the corresponding registers on Archion as well. Note that the death registers may be under the heading "Bestattungen" = Burials.

Thank you so much! One of the people listed is part of my family. Franz Joseph Seifert. I was hoping for more, but I am delighted with this.
Thanks,

I found Christina!!!
I have some questions:
- Is the husband's name Georg Wilhelm August? It looks like that, but I have never seen August as a last name.
- Could you please translate the names of the children? I can make our their birth dates.
Thank you,
Karen

Hello Karen,
1. I think the husband's surname is: Ross. It's hard to read. His full name would be Georg Wilhelm August Ross. There's a note that says he's the brother of Johann Kaspar? Ross, see 377 and 374. Can you provide images of those pages? It might help to confirm the surname.
2. The children are:
(1) Sophie Elise.
(2) Christian Ludwig.
(3) Georg Richard.

Thank you so much. I would have never guessed Ross. Attached are 377 and 374 that you requested to confirm the surname.
Thanks,
Karen

Hello Karen,
Thanks for posting the other images. The husbands on images 374, 377, and 378 are all brothers.
The surname is either Ress or Ross. Keep both options open when searching for your family.
Best regards,

My subscription to Archion ends tonight. So I am trying to learn as much as possible today.
The attached marriage record is for Johann Georg Seifert and Anna Babara Hulnilin (I think)
These are my questions:
- Do I have the last name of the bride correct?
- In column 5 there is a date of Jan 7, 1803. What does that date represent?
- In Colume 6, date of June 2, 1748 - What does that date represent?
- In Column 8 (I believe this date is the wedding date) - right?
- In column 14, the date of Oct 23, 1767. Could this be the birth date of Johann Georg's father another Johann Georg?
Thank you so much,
Karen Dwyer

Which record are you referring to? Please identify by the record number in the first column.
Please note that the only groom named Seyfert on this image is in record 49 and his name is Valentin Seyfert. The bride in record 49 is Magdalena Schifflein.
I don't see any groom named Johann Georg nor any bride named Anna Barbara on this image.
Please check the posted image and advise.

Boy, I really misread this record.
Thank you for setting me straight.

So I'm assuming you don't need this record translated or your questions answered, correct?

That's correct. I don't know who that Valentine Seyfert belongs to at this point. I am keeping the record, but may not need it.
Thank you,
Karen
