On the 29th of August 1843 the former musketeer in the 34th infantry regiment and now soon-to-be manual laborer Carl Sieg ( or Sich), second son of the local farmer Joh. Sieg, was married to the maiden Caroline Wilhelmine Jacobitz, only daughter of the woodcutter Franz Jaxobitz here in the church in Grunau by the preacher Mr. Uthke. He was confirmed by me in 1832 on the 1st of Advent, she in 1836 on the 2nd of Advent by the preacher Mr. Wilde from Preussisch Friedland, whom I had asked to do this due to my illness.
