Confusion on age listed & correct translation
A Cloward
✭✭
I've noticed in this set of civil registration records that the age of the person tends to be written "30, 663 years". Initially I thought maybe this was years and days, but then I saw there were numbers over 365 [365 days in a year]. What is your interpretation of this?
Also "verheirattet gewesen" translates to had been married. Does this mean the spouse is now deceased?

My guess is 30,663 years = 30 years + 0.663 * 365 days = 30 years, 242 days.
"verheiratet gewesen mit dem Anzeigenden" means that the deceased had been married until her death with the notifier, i.e. her husband Friedrich Siewert.
