Assenheim, Hessen - baptism in 1814 - Kopp family - transcription help
I already got good help (not in this community) with the translation of the main part of the baptismal entry for Anna Margareth Kopp. Since I can't read some parts of the entry, I think there possibly could be one or two details in it that are helpful. I'm asking for help to fill in the blanks and also the translation. The full page is also attached. This is what I know from the previous translation:
Anna Margareth was born on 22 March 1814 (illegitimate) to Anna Margareth who is the daughter of the late Jacob Kopp. The father of the child is not mentioned except that he is a French officer. The baptismal witness is Anna Elisabeth wife of Johann Heinrich Gondolf. Anna Margareth died on 26 February 1889 and was buried on 28 February 1889.
Any help is appreciated!

Question: I found a baptismal entry (year 1776) in Assenheim for an Anna Elisabeth Kopp (with the same father as the mother Anna Margareth Kopp in this baptismal entry) and a marriage entry (year 1804) for an Anna Elisabeth Kopp and Johann Heinrich Gondolf. So I think the mother and witness could be sisters, but I don't see a relationship mentioned in the entry for Anna Margareth born in 1814. Is that right?

Translation:
[note in margin]3. March 22 [1814].
In the year 1814, March 22, Anna Margareth, daughter of the deceased local citizen Jacob Kopp, gave birth to an illegitimate daughter, whose father she names as a French cavalry officer. This [daughter] was baptized on the 25th of this month. The baptism witness was Anna Elisabeth, the wife of Joh[ann] Heinrich Gondolf here, who named the child Anna Margareth after her [own] girl Anna Margareth.

Thank you very much Ulrich, for your additions to the transcription and the translation!
Even though the name the father isn't given (which I already knew), it's helpful that the mother had at least given a small amount of info about him in the entry.
Thank you for answering my question. I assumed the mother Anna Margareth had named her daughter after herself, instead of the baptismal witness naming the child after her own daughter. I'm sure that the mother and witness are sisters because of the records I found for the Anna Elisabeth, but my intent is to confirm this if I find a baptismal entry dated earlier for an Anna Margareth born to the witness and her husband Johann Heinrich Gondolf. If I'm correct about this, the two children would have been first cousins with the same given names as the mother.
