Transcription Request - Sülfeld Marriage Record 1776
I cannot make out some of the words/names in this marriage record for my 5th GGP Hans Biel and Anna Margareta Kruse. They lived in Oering, Kregis Segeberg and the parish records were in Sülfeld. Bitte helfen Sie.
[Married] 20 Feb:
Der Junggesell und Knecht Hans Biel, des weil
Hans Biel [Hufeners?] in Oehring und [Trine?] geboren
[Holtdorps?], Sohn; mit Jgfr. An Margaret
Kruse, des [Hufeners?] in Oehring Hans
Kruse und Anthe gebh. [Scheel?] Tochter.
Zeugen: Fridrich [Eilke?] aus Sülfeld
Peter Möller aus Sülfeld
[I believe the left margin note refers to the death of my 5th GGF in 1797, but what does the abbreviation "Det:" refer to?]
[I presume the asterisked notes above Hans' and Anna's names refer to their birth and death dates?]

You transcription is nearly perfect:

You are right that the notes above the spouses give their birth and death dates. The note in the left margin is a duplicate of the death note for the groom; Def. means defunctus = deceased.
Huf[e]ner and Hüf[e]ner are basically the same word, a farmer who owns a Hufe, a certain area of land.

Your questions: Yes, the notes above the names refer to each person's birth and death dates. The asterisk * indicates birth and the cross + indicates death.
In the left margin: Def. = Defunctus = deceased/died
"Hufener" = farmer with a full-sized farm.
