Jacob Henrich Wittich, Philipina Theiß marriage, 22 Oct 1750, in Giessen, Hesse
I can't figure out three words in this marriage record. And I'm not sure of the correct grammatical ending to some words nor how to best translate part.
I get:
Iacob Henrich Wittich, Pfeifer unter g__?? löbl[ichen] Regiment H[erren Baron v[on] Radenhaußen Obristen v[on] Commandanten Compagnien und:
Philippina Margaretha Theißin von Stockstadt sind nach gel.?? __?? copulirt worden
Attempted Translation:
Jacob Henrich Wittich, Piper under the ___ praiseworthy Regiment of Mister Baron von Radenhaüßen, Colonel of Commandant's Companies, and Philippina Margaretha Theißin from Stockstadt have been married after ___ ___.
Did I get the endings in bold right? Is the "en" ending a plural ending or a possessive ending? It seems like Obristen (plural?) should just be Obrist (singular) ? Please correct my transcription and translation.
