Thank you @sylviaelchinger1 ! I looked at that too quickly. The scribe uses the "etl" abbreviation in quite a few records.

wurde - was
etat - age (latin)
weniger elf tage - less eleven days
Edit to add: the town is not Croffelbach; it is Craftsolms (also spelled Kraftsolms).

Thank you. I thought the spelling was different. First time seeing that in these records. Must be close to Croffelbach then--

using timeanddate.com the birth is 15 Jun 1695 but it is probably off two days as this was a burial date. Did I calculate correctly?

Birth date would be July 7th, 1695 if the burial was on the date of death (since his age is "less eleven days" rather than "and eleven days). If he died a day or two before the burial his birth date was about July 5 or 6th 1695.
Kraftsolms is about a mile northwest of Kröffelbach (Cröffelbach)

I obviously do not understand how to use this calculator. Thank you again.

I don't think it's "elf" but rather "etl:" which is an abbreviation for etliche - several. You'll see the same abbreviation in several of the other records.
