Help! I need to find these ancestors

Please Translate:

My grandfather, Heinrich Bergman born 1879 in Bremerhaven, Germany immigrated to the US in 1902. His father's name was Frederick Bergman and mother's name was Margaret Wiggens. I figured they were probably born in the 1850's. Any information you can give me regarding Fredrick and Margaret would be deeply appreciated.

I looked under Public Member Trees in Ancestry for you and found a Fredrick Bergman with parents John Bergman 1838-1903 and mother Margaret Wunderlich with no birth or death date. There is an obituary for Katherine Bergman stating that there is a surviving brother Fred Bergman of Detroit.

If you do not have a subscription to Ancestry, you can go to a FamilySearch Center or affiliate library near you to see this. Just go to "Search" and then "Public Member Trees" and put in Fredrick Bergman's informaiton. I found two trees. It was the second tree that had the obituary. It took me a while to realize you had asked for a translation and I had instead looked into finding info from Bremerhaven.

I will send a link in a seperate comment to a Bremerhaven website that gives detailed information how to get genealogical information from Bremerhaven. Unfortunately it seems there is nothing online - except the some Catholic churchbooks, but I suppose the Bergman's were protestant?

You might want to try and contact the Bremerhaven Stadtarchiv, I guess, about the birth record of Heinrich Bergmann, so you'd have the correct name of the parents?

For the parents you would need to contact the church archives. For that it would be important to know if the family belonged to the "Lutheran" or the "Reformed" evangelical church.

The last name of Fredrich Bergmann's wife Margaret could maybe be "Wiggers", which is a name that can be found in the area.
