In the year 1667
Johann Michael Metz, legitimate son of the late Thöng(?) Metz, inhabitant of Becheln, and maiden Anna Maria, legitimate daughter of Hans Wagener from Hinterwald, have been proclamated in Becheln with consent of the ruler, the first time on the 3rd Sunday after Epiphany, the second time on the Sunday Septuagesimae, the third time on the Sunday Sexagesimae and were married on Tuesday, February 12th at Dachsenhausen. May God give them happiness and ___ a happy marriage.
