Baptism record translation help
The attached baptism record, Entry #2,
for Henriette Christiana Philippine Geissler, born 12 May 1787 and baptized 14 May, in Rödersdorf, is for a little daughter of Johann Michael Geissler, a farmer in Rödersdorf, Reuss j.L., Thüringen. However, the child's baptismal witnesses are a Graf (Count) and Grafins (Countesses). There is a note at the bottom of the entry about the child's mother, who is Eva Maria nee Schauerhammer, my ancestor. I cannot determine how the mother is associated with these high-born Grafs. Can someone fill in the blanks for me please?
Testes:
- der Hochgebohren Graf und Herr, Herr Heinrich der LXII (sten) F.L.R. Graf und Herr von Pleum? Unse??grädigsten Grafen und Landes.Vaters. Herren Heinrich des XCII (sten) einziger Herr Sohn.
- die Hochgebohren Gräfin Christiana Philippine Louise, ?, und landes Vaters einzige Comtesse Tochter und
- Die Hochbegohren Gräfin und Frau, Frau Christian Ferdinanda, des weyland Hochgeb. Grafin und Herr, Herr Heinrich des XII hinterlassene Frau Wittwe gebohren Gräfin Zu? Ysenburg Philippseich.
Nota: des Kindes Mutter ist die Amm[sp]?? Herr Heinrich des LVII gewesen.
Thank you for any help with this.

Hello Danette,
The image is unfortunately very unsharp. Can you please upload a better version? I don't have access to Archion.
If the word in the note is "Amme" (wet nurse) this may be the reason why there is a connection to the noble family.

Wow, that makes sense - except that I would think that she would have had to travel a bit to where the nobles lived. I think they were from Hesse - from what I can find online.
I'll try to post a better image. Archion images download in PDF form which is not accepted on Community. I changed it to JPEG and it blurred it.
I tried it a different way. Here you go!
Thank you!

The image is broken 😒
The easiest way to post a readable image is to make a screen shot of the zoomed-in record ( see

The image is broken because FS Community blocked it due to copyright issues. I'm not sure we are legally able to post an image from Archion.
But I do believe you answered the question for me. The word is most likely Amme, like you thought. I also looked up the first witness, Herr Heinrich LVII and he was born 1785 in Schleiz, which is right by Rödersdorf. He was the first Prince Reuss Younger Line. Eva Marie Schauerhammer, the wetnurse, had a 6 month old baby when Heinrich was born, so it is very possible that she was the wetnurse for him.
Herr Heinrich LVII would have been only 2 years old when he was the Baptismal Witness. I don't think that is very common, but it appears that is what happened.
