Translation request - Fratzscher birth - 1788

I found the birth record for my 4th great grandfather - Johann Michael Fratzscher in Weltwitz in 1788. I need help with the translation please as I am having trouble with some of the handwriting. Is his birth day 7 May or 7 March? From his funeral record and the calculation of days, months, years, it would seem 7 May, but that looks like "Marz".

Translation:

On May 7 [1788] at about 7 p.m. was born Hans Michael, baptized on 9th of the same month

Father: Hans Michael Fratscher, neighbor and resident

Mater: Marie Barbara Prager, from Weltwitz

Witnesses:

1. Joachim Pohle, neighbor and resident as well as mayor here
2. Hans Georg Fratscher, neighbor and resident here
3. Mrs. Anna Catharina Geissler, wife of Christian Geissler, neighbor and resident here
