Help with Latin marriage entry from 1772

I need help with the top entry, please.

This record had been indexed in FamilySearch many years ago but this is the digital image viewed at the Digital Archive of the Archdiocese of Cologne from the year 1772. I am interested in what information is given about the bride and groom. Is Gerardus Becker from Meschenich and Catharina Fuss from Rondorf? It looks like the witnesses are Jacobus Geyr and Joan ne Langen? Is Joan a woman or am I missing part of the name?

Thanks for looking at this and giving any guidance you can so I can get better at deciphering these church records myself!

Translation:

In the year 1772, on the 6th of December, after the dispensation from three announcements and closed time in the Parish Church of St. Servatius in Immendorf, were married the honorable son Gerardus (Gerhard) Becker, born and living in Meschenich, and the virtuous daughter Catharina Fuss, born in Buir(?), just serving in the village of Rondorf with Jacob Cleesen, a wheelwright, under my parish. As witnesses(?) were present Jakob Geyr and Johannes Langen, blacksmith and __? in Meschenich.

Comment:

You interpreted the names and locations quite correctly. Note that the first names are latinized: Gerhard = Gerardus, Jakob = Jakobus, Johannes = Joannes.

I am unsure about the place that looks like Buir.

Thank you so much. Perhaps I will eventually find a death record for Catharina Fuss that clarifies her birthplace. The help you and the others in this community give is such a gift to those of us searching for ancestors!!!
