Marriage translation request --Schmidt
Please provide translation of the marriage found at the very top this image. I passed this record by three times not seeing the writing of the last name. Please correct my attempt:
Greifenstein 0n 10 September (1741) Johann Georg Schmidt ??from Allendorf?? married Anna Margaretha daughter of Johannes Martin ???? widower after marriage words.
Perhaps transcribing might help my understanding what these records say.

Hello Trish,
Here's my translation which you can compare with yours:
Greifenstein, on the 10th of September [1741] Johann Georg Schmidt from Allendorf with Anna Margaretha, surviving widow of the late Johanneß Mertin, were marrried.
Comments: nachgelaßen Wittib = left-behind widow = surviving widow.
Wit(t)we, Wit()tib = widow.
Wit(t)wer, Wit(t)iber = widower.

With no maiden name provided I must find her previous marriage.
Also thank you for providing german words and translations. Added to my word list and future translations I attempt--but this one "nachgelaßen" --didn't look like those letters to me.
"worden" means were, been, is????
This record also tells me the Schmidt family came from Allendorf--correct?
