What are my best option for finding the original records for Johann Michael Nieberlein?
Johann Michael Nieberlein, (1770–1817, 21RG-J4N) has three wives with conflicting births of their children listed. I know from our own records my Grandfather paid for a German genealogist to research German church records. I want to get access to those records and untangle the family. A number of years ago I was looking into searching the Archion Lutheran records (Deanery Neustadt adAisch) but didn't investigate then.
Is this still my best option? Do you know if Family Search will be indexing these records? I don't read German, but I have picked out words and re-transcribed some old handwriting in the 1600's and 1700's and I found extra names and details that were not indexed.

It seems that Archion is still the best way to go. From the FS profile of Johann MIchael Nieberlein I understand that he was born and lived in Rossbach, Middle Franconia (https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/20629013). Rossbach had no own parish, but belonged to the parish of Baudenbach (https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/10118004). The church books for Baudenbach are digitally available on Archion from 1540 onwards. There is even an alphabetical index for baptisms for the years 1784-1904.
The records themselves are not indexed so you need to check if you are able to extract the data or post the records here for translation. Anyhow I would strongly suggest not to rely on indexed records alone, as those often contain (transcription) errors.
Archion requires a paid pass to access the records, but the costs are fairly manageable.

Thank you, this is very helpful! I just need to pick a block of time that I can dedicate to invest in the Archion records. I am so grateful I can get help with translations! Thank you for your help.
