There isn't enough of the captured image to say for sure that this is a death record, because the bottom part is cut off. Also, the top part is cut off as well. Civil Registration death records will have a C in the top corner of the document (birth records are identified with an A and marriage records are identified with a B).

Johanne Gries is a beeidigte Todtenfrau. Beeidigte means "certified", and a To(d)tenfrau or Heimbürgin was a woman who prepared the corpse for the funeral.
