Place and date of marriage and possible parentage of Lorenz (Laurentius) Weber who was possibly born
I am wondering if anyone could help locate the above marriage or the
birthplace or parentage of Lorenz (laurentius) Weber. Lorenz and Josepha
arrived in New York from Bremen in June 1852. Lorenz Weber 36 was a Joiner
from Bavaria. His wife Maria Josepha Steger was born in Steinbach,
Stotten, near Martkoberdorf, Bavaria on 24 Feb 1820. The passenger list
includes the following Weber children: Franziska 5, Crescens 4, Math 3,
and Victoria 3/4 years old. This record suggests that the marriage took
place in Bavaria circa 1846.
Lorenz had brothers Joseph born circa 1821 in Bavaria and Clemens born
circa 1822 in Bavaria. The only more specific reference to a birthplace
for the Webers was Munich or near Munich. Crescentia Weber married in 1874
and her birth was listed Dioce. Munchen Freis? ___ in Bavaria. there is a
space after Fries and then two or three letters which could be a repeat of
in or an inr?
The three Weber brothers and several of Josepha's siblings lived out their
lives in Minnesota. All of the individuals mentioned were Roman Catholic.
Lorenz and Josepha were my great great grandparents. Any help would be
appreciated.
Thank you.

May I ask you where you got the locality information for husband and wife? Specific references would be very helpful.

I have researched all of the records for Steinbach many years ago at the Family History Library in SLC, but I wasn't able to locate a marriage record. I never located Lorenz Weber until recently. I came across a record of a family leaving Rosshaupten that may fit my ancestors. Maria Josepha Steger 24 February 1820 :
Birth - Steinbach, Markt Oberdorf, Bayern
Sources: Stotten Catholic Church Records on Microfilm - FHL Microfilm#849781
For Lorenz the birth date comes from family records and the town https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSLR-JXTP?i=8&cat=2078853
I wish that I was able to view the Roman Catholic Church records, but the microfilms are no longer available and viewing online is not enabled.
